So today is FPP reveal day!!! Yay 😉
I missed it in August because I forgot to sign up..oops.
This month the FPP program celebrated 2 years!! Congrats to Lindsay on creating such a wonderful program that as grown so much and is so much fun 🙂 In honor of the 2 years, we did something a little different. We sent a package to the same person who sent one to us. It was different and a unique way to celebrate!
So my FPP this month was Ariel who helps to admin her sister’s (Nicole) blog over at Www.hapatite.com.
I have looked over their site and it is filled with some really amazing recipes that I can not wait to try!!!
What a fun and sweet package I received in the mail. Full of so many new things to try!!
First a sweet note! I love anything handwritten 😉
Rachel Ray has such good recipes that this will be fun to look through and pick out new things to try!
Kit Kat…enough said!
The next part of the package made me feel like I was back in England!! Tons of new teas and cookies (biscuits) to try! I am really stoked to try some of the new teas that represent different cultures! I am a big fan of Chai, so those are going fast! I have never tried honey crystals before, so I am really excited to pair that with one of my new teas!!!
Yum, yum and yum!!
I have never tried a milk tea before. I am going in search of some Boba in the next few weeks so I can really enjoy these teas the proper way!
A few extra goodies that will come into good use! I am always on the look out for new hydration products, so I will be testing out this Flavrz on one of my next long runs!
I am pretty pumped about this really sweet gift card from Hello Fresh!! It looks like such a fun idea to try out some new recipes!
I love Nicole’s business card! The turtles are adorable 🙂 They are used for ratings and depicting new foods or cocktails! What a great idea 🙂
Thank you again Ariel and Nicole for your amazing package!! I can not wait to taste all the teas and try out Hello Fresh! You are both very thoughtful and kind!
If you want to learn a little more about Foodie Pen Pals here is some basic info!
-On the 5th of the month, you will receive your penpal pairing via email. It will be your responsibility to contact your penpal and get their mailing address and any other information you might need like allergies or dietary restrictions.
-You will have until the 15th of the month to put your box of goodies in the mail. On the last day of the month, you will post about the goodies you received from your penpal!
-The boxes are to be filled with fun foodie things, local food items or even homemade treats! The spending limit is $15. The box must also include something written. This can be anything from a note explaining what’s in the box, to a fun recipe…use your imagination!
-You are responsible for figuring out the best way to ship your items depending on their size and how fragile they are. (Don’t forget about flat rate boxes!)
-Foodie Penpals is open to blog readers as well as bloggers. If you’re a reader and you get paired with a blogger, you can choose to write a short guest post for your penpal to post on their blog about what you received. If two readers are paired together, neither needs to worry about writing a post for that month.
– Foodie Penpals is open to US, Canadian residents & European residents. Please note, Canadian Residents will be paired with other Canadians only. We’ve determined things might get too slow and backed up if we’re trying to send foods through customs across the border from US to Canada and vice versa. So, I’m going to keep two separate lists and match US w/ US and Canada w/ Canada!
***If you’re in Europe, please contact Carol Anne from This Is Rock Salt at firstname.lastname@example.org to get involved!
