Well friends, I have been battling a nasty cold the last few days, and before that some pretty horrible insomnia. Mix the two together and well, my workouts have not really been happening. Kind of bummed about it since I really wanted to stay on track with my race training. So the last few days have been filled with lots of rest (my step tracker has been pretty low for me), and lots of fluids and soups.
The positive side of all this is that I created some new soup recipes that I will post when I have energy to sit at the computer and not pass out.
The other positive side is that my nanny kiddos have been extra snugly since they haven’t been feeling well either. I hate that we are all sick, but I do love some good snuggle time. And coloring. Coloring is always good!
