Before and after

Hello friends!
Happy August!  Whew, July FLEW by!  I can hardly believe it is already my birthday month!  I feel like I just turned 34! Haha
July was jam packed with moving, renovations, my trip to LA for blogfest, and working on finishing up some of the cosmetic changes on the house.  Then this past weekend some of my fab friends threw us a delightful housewarming party!
I would say the house is 90% finished.  We have a tad more painting to do, a few more changes to the kitchen cabinets, the guest room needs furniture, more pictures and art to hang up, and our closet needs some major organization! Haha

I will let the pictures do the talking!
Each little collage has the before pic, and then a few after pics.  Some rooms are still needing some work and details, but for the most part, the house is finished!
And sorry for some of the bad lighting.  I took the pics really quickly!

I found this ADORABLE welcome mat a few months ago, and I could not wait to use it! 🙂

Kitchen- still needs some work, but WAY better than it was! img_3295
I am loving this new owl I found (thanks to a gift card!)
Pantry- SO thankful we have a pantry in this house.  We had to use cupboards in our old house which was a bit of a pain, and made storage for kitchen items really tight.
And this cute sign makes me happy 🙂
Master bedroom -We had a fiasco with some of the curtains, so I ended up changing them out…3 times…Haha img_3306

Our wonderful friends threw us such a fabulous house warming party!  We were gifted so many wonderful things, but more importantly, we are so blessed with amazing friends who shower us with love, support, kindness and generosity.  Many of them were able to make it to our get together, and those who were not able to make it still showered us with love!  Feelings of thankfulness can not even begin to describe how we both feel!

I am linking up with HoHo Runs and MissSippiPiddlin today for their Weekly Wrap!

Be filled with health and joy!

The house looks great! I love that table 🙂 And that’s so nice of your friends to throw you a house warming family. A new place never feels like home to me until I have people over.

Thank you Chrissy! Oh it is a process! Took us 3 years to dial in to the right location and then find the house that fit us. It all worked out but was def stressful! Good luck and reach out if you have any questions 😉

Thank you so much Tricia! It has been a long precess, but SO worth it! I love our floors so much! Couldn’t be happier with what we picked (and the price was great too!)
It’s good to be back! Have missed my blogging buddies!

Good to see you again on the Weekly Wrap, Esther! You have been very busy with moving into and redecorating your new home. It looks very lovely! I love that letter wall. I should redo my laundry room since that is the place where I spend all of my time. LOL. How wonderful to be given a house warming party and spend time with good friends. Thanks for linking.

It’s great to be back! Whew, it was a busy summer with our house renovations and moving.
Thank you so much! We are loving it!
Making my laundry room cute and functional was on the top 10 for the new house. Makes doing laundry much more enjoyable! lol
We do have some really fabulous friends!

Everything looks great, and I’m really diggin’ that table! I love how simple it is, which makes you appreciate the little details you sprinkle in there even more. (I’m a big owl fan as well, so I REALLY liked those details! 🙂
