Can you believe it is August 1st? Me either!!
August is usually a pretty fun month for me since I get to celebrate my birth and see friends that I don’t see too often. Summer is winding down and the start of another school year is upon us!
I know I have not really done a goals post this summer but I am ready to get some things done this month and get back on track with some of my yearly goals! I have joined a few challenges to help me stay focused on my goals. I love accountability. It really helps me stay focused and motivated on what I am aiming for!
*30+ min of exercise or stretching daily
*8-9 hours of sleep a night
*Gallon of water (or more) daily
*Add collagen daily to a smoothie or other meal
*Write letters to at least 3 friends expressing gratitude
*Write a daily gratitude post on Instagram (see below)
*Study 5 hours a week
*2-3 blogs weekly
*Finish reading 3 books
I have been doing a lot of thinking about gratitude and how when I am more focused on being thankful, the things that don’t seem to be going well fade a bit. We all know that life is full of ups and downs. It seems to come in waves in my life and I have been in the midst of a crashing down wave lately. I have so much to be grateful for, and so I have decided to post daily on Instagram with a black and white photo and using #BWgratefulAugust for the month. Feel free to join in the fun!
